This way we are able to use the advantages of both realms and this helps us to create the sound you've always searched for! Specialized on mastering for vinyl !
Staub Audio Engineering is also specialized on mastering your music for a perfect transportation to the vinyl realm. with over 600 + vinyl LPs we have a heavy experience with this specific and sophisticated process. To make your art sound perfect on vinyl we are also working closely together with cutting engineers dedicated to a perfect result. At Staub Audio Engineering the behaviour of the cutting stylus is simulated with special computer programs to correct and tweak problems before they occur in the translation process.
Sometimes cutting engineers are using heavy amounts of eliptical filtering to protect their mashinery, which can have a deep impact on the sound of the end result. Therefor it is very preferable that the audio and mastering engineer is working intimately together with the cutting engineer to communicate preferences and priorities. This helps a lot because certain technical terms are often hard to understand and may lead to misunderstandings.
A well cutted and well mastered vinyl can sound nearly exactly the same as the digital raw material.
